Top-class and reasonably clean place with highly professional and exceptionally professional staff at reception desk. Brand-new unit in bathroom for clothes. The location peaceful and convenient very close to the central train station. Close to Darling Harbour precinct, good eateries like Spice Alley and Chinatown and Paddy's Market.

Location next to train station and transportation, and all transport. Thoughtful tea making facilities, climate control and tea, coffee in the room, great and brilliant location. Smooth check-in, parking on site.
Beds were a little firm.

I arrived for my check in and the Mecure had no booking under my name. there must have been a communication problem between Booked.net and the mecure. very embarrassing. Lucky enough the hotel staff at the mecure were able to "match" the deal I had in the 1st place otherwise I would have been inconvienced.
Parking is an absolute rip off. when paying for premium hotel accomodation, I think that the money I paid was enough to justify a parking space included in the cost or for a discounted rate, $28 x 3 days is nearly $100 and I feel that is quite rude considering I have paid for the room.

Convenient location, comfortable bed
Lighting in the room was very poor, so that it was not possible to read at night. There were 2 wall lights with low wattage globes and a desk lamp, but no bedside or overhead lighting. The thermostat in the room was not working so it was impossible to adjust the temperature, which was too warm for comfortable sleeping.

Arrived very early after a long flight, and reception most receptive in allowing me to book in early. Good choice between formal restaurant and casual bar/diner. Good access to central Sydney attractions. Free security safe in room.

adjustable room lighting, air conditioning options, proximity to public transport
Parking arrangements need clarity on the website!!! Expecting to park on-site only to find no spaces and a costly alternative at Wilson was frustrating. The wait time for check-in was excessive, delaying our plans!!!
